Dr. Jacob J. Mootz attended Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN and received an Associate of Science Degree, and then transferred to Mankato State University while continuing his undergraduate degree. While attending Northwestern Health Sciences University, he attained a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic. He is also in the process of becoming acupuncture certified through NWHSU. Dr. Mootz has also taken some Spanish language courses and studied in Costa Rica during his time at NWHSU. Dr. Mootz took the necessary classes and national board examination to be able to perform acupuncture as a beneficial conjunctive therapy to chiropractic care.  

Dr. Mootz has been with IHS of Woodbury since January of 2006. He re-opened the clinic on Payne Avenue as of January 2007. He is very proud to be a part of IHS Midwest's excellent reputation for outstanding chiropractic healthcare.
